I've got a large-ish stainless steel dish drainer but being in a hard water area it really "cakes up" with limescale. I really don't want to use a chemical cleaner so I wondered if there was anything natural that would clean it fairly easily without too much elbow grease, does anyone else have this problem and uses a non chemical cleaner? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Lemon juice usually takes it off.
Wipe round with lemon juice leave it for an hour or so then rinse off.
If it has really built up try to balance slices of lemon on the bad bits for an hour then rinse.
Thanks everyone, think I will try the lemon first and then the vinegar if that doesn't do the trick. May even have to resort to the astonish paste with the stubborn deposits on there.
