I really really fancy a steak & kidney pie. What's the next best thing to home made? Plenty of excuses for not doing my own at the moment! (individual please, not family size....so sad).

My nightie is an eco-f- ...nevermind.
Evening, biddies. So, we've got one biddy - me - falling backwards and another one - Lottie - falling on her face. Now if the rest of you could practise falling sideways we could enter Biddies Got Talent wearing multi-coloured nighties and form different patterns together depending which side we fall on. It will be a Boyle moment. Audience rolling their eyes as we enter the stage, but within seconds oohing and aaahing and dropping their jaws - can't you see it...? ("Falling out of bed", I laughed at that:) I'm not sure where stabbing your arm comes in though, Neti, gonna have to think about that one!

Alas no Neti I don't have vivid dreams. An acquaintance of mine is very good at interpreting dreams, she runs a blog and people post their dreams to her and she interprets them online for free (as much as you can, when you don't have the opportunity to ask follow-up questions of the dreamer). I'm amazed when I read her blog how elaborate most dreams are - mine are just bits and pieces and theirs are like Hollywood movie scripts. On the other hand I do live in my imagination a lot during the day and I practise guided imagery so perhaps my brain needs all the rest it can get during sleep...!

Jude can you tell us a little bit about your job? I know you can't talk about your pupils but the job as such.

Did I post this already...? Did I take my BP pill? No, heck, I DIDN't!! Thanks for bringing that up, erm... whoever it was that brought it up. Anyway... did I post this already? (be sure to read the note introductory note) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZ_mlwnAmr0

My last post should have read...'You two should'NT be allowed out alone...'
I was keeping an eye on the tennis & not paying attention to typing.

Aw shaney, ne'er mind it'll be over soon & there are far worse things than a footy fan for a man to be...I'll let you know when I think of something, haha. At least you know where he is...right there, hogging the remote. I hope he's ok.
Fingers crossed we haven't been invaded by anything bugwise....yet.
I remember not so long ago being almost in tears over an ice-cream tub. I felt grotty and the only thing I fancied to eat was ice cream...pah! could I get the bl00dy lid off? Ended up with a right split knuckle & bp through the roof. Stupid things they are.

I think it's going to be nightie in the fridge tonight, it's very close. I used to have epic dreams but I don't have so many now, probably because I live in a permanent dream too. And I think I'll pass on the Cirque du Biddy thank you, I'd rather keep my reeling technique under wraps, but I'm quite happy to choreograph & sew on sequins.
Haha ..I finally found how to open it Robinia ..the bit on the edge that says "open " . after puliing at bits of plastic and taking a chisel to it :) Why do they have to make packaging a lifes work to open these days .
Hogging the remote ? I think he's sitting on the bloomin'. thing and takes it to bed with him :)
Never mind .He won't see it for dust once Midsomer is on again :)
You will never believe it but he bought one of those disposable barbecue things today for tomorrows steak dinner .
Of course I'll be the one who has to mess about with the ruddy thing ....Oh I hope they win or life at Shaneytowers will be Groß cack de malheurs :)

I'm still here bobbing around the interweb..I swear M&S are sneaking autumn wear into the mix already :o(

Disposable bbq? Does it just last long enough to cremate your sausage & then collapse in a heap of ashes? :o) Only tonight as I sat with all the windows open I thought how lovely it had been today...not one single barbie. I suppose I'll be choking on burnt fat fumes from all directions tomorrow.
Anyone still about. I am listening to Muse on Glastonbury and thinking how awful they are. A cheap immitation of my lovely Radiohead. In the village over the hill (well one of Norfolk's mountains is just behind our house!!) there seem to be about three mini-Glastonburies going on this evening and I really want to be there jigging around. Nice to hear people having a good time - why aren't we invited!!!

I have planted an olive tree today in a tub which is standing in my hot spot in the garden - I have come over all mediterranean!! Who needs Ibiza!!

Sorry you are feeling yucky Shaney. Glad your menfolk are ready for tomorrow with their hooters. I have the Grand Prix to watch. No doubt even Mr Lottie will be interested in the match tomorrow though. England versus Germany is always exciting!! Did you get the photo?? ;o)

As for dreams, I still get weird vivid dreams every night and if they ever get analysed I will get locked up in the loony bin. They are truly out of this world and many re recurring!!

Take care and sleep well.
yes, the idea of an inflammable BBQ could be an unfilled spot in the market, couldn't it?

Had sis from Sydney over for lunch today - poor lass is having an appaling time with immigration people. Apparently the expiry date of her tourist visa has been written in by hand, which is code for 'watch this woman like a hawk'. So when she went to Madrid for a couple of days they nearly didn't let her back in again - she had three hours of interrogation, fingerprints and all, 15 pages of handwritten notes taken, before they said she could stay. She's already booked a week in Barbados with her man and is wondering if she should take all her possessions with her in case she's refused entry to the UK again.

I keep reading in the News section that anyone can stroll into Britain and demand to be put straight on the dole - but here's sis doing everything right and above board, trying to work on her relationship with her guy (who's a lovely man), and the little Gauleiters in immigration are doing everything to stop her. Bah.
It seems to me jno that they take the easy option of picking on easy targets, same with the police these days. Hope all goes well for your sis! x
In days gone by Jno ,Mr S used to have to report to the police station every six months !! He was only allowed to be here for a certain amount of time .
Yes, I did Lofty but I can't open it .
Right ..I'm off to hide the hooters :)
I'll cremate their sausages alright Robinia if I have much more ............I may just stay in bed all day tomorrow :)
Night night all ..sleep well .xx
Sis was given a six-month tourist visa and warned not to work, which she had no intention of doing; she still has a house and car in Sydney, and a ticket home. Everything within the letter and spirit of the law. She is amused and disdainful about the whole thing but it is pretty tiresome. There s nothing I (or her man) can do to help, unfortunately.
When I first came to Ibiza I could only be here for 9 months and then either leave or take residencia (proving that I could live here on my own money (!!) you had to show a bank statement with a certain amount of money. This is where friends and neighbours came in, they all loaned the money for a week and then once we had the bank statement, they got it all back again. It was to prove that we wouldn't be a burden on the state and could fly back home immediately if needed.)

jno, you sis didn't attempt tp buy a lip protector did she? sounds like what happened to me in the shop!!

Spent the night with gordon gecko again, he stayed in one corner all night so I presumed he had died, but when I got up to make a cuppa, he disappeared back into the wardrobe I guess!!

Yes Lottie I always have weird and not so wonderful dreams, some are lovely and some are horrid. But I do have a vivid imagination at the best of times so can't expect it to rest just cos I am sleeping!
PS, we are not allowed bbq's from june to sept due to a risk of forest fire!
shaney, your june bugs, are they over an inch long, fat , black and zoom everywhere? we have them outside, don't see them at night, they are known as May, June or July bugs, depending on the month!

Morning ☼ ☼ ☼

That's a shame about your sister jno. As Lottie says, they pick on the easy targets...as in all things it seems to me sadly. The more honest & well behaved you are the harder they make it for you.

I've had a recurring dream...well a similar one twice this week...It was about baby mice coming from the bottom of the wall. Looking at the interpretations the most fitting one is that it means I'm worrying too much about minor problems...which is about right.

I've been chatting to Ozzy (ha, my new name for son down under) on msn....want to see him on the beach? It's a whole lot quieter than Wooly is today...yes, that's him there in front of the webcam by the sign!

He seems ok & happy enough but he's convinced no one takes a driving test over there. :o/
Happy Sunday everyone.
Was out at 7.15 and walked for an hour. I thought i wouldn't get one today because I think there's footie on the telly or something so I got it in early.

Jno ~ I hope your sis gets sorted. I know when my niece and her husband went to New Zealand they couldn't go unless he had a job. So they went for a month and had interviews etc and then came home and sold up and went for good. They are now divorced and living a few miles from each other. They have a 12 year old daughter who I talk to on Skype and FB. I don't think they will come home now though. Funny how you always say come home.
If I was you Robi I would be wanting my son to be happy, which I'm sure you do, but then I would secretly hope he didn't want to stay and come home.
My little 'job' Kit is very enjoyable. It's voluntary and is called, by Derby City Council, 'Reading is our Business'. I only do a few hours a week and help children with reading difficulties. I have a couple who are European and have certain problems with pronunciation etc. Some children can read quite well but have concentration problems. I usually help them for about 15 minutes each. They sometimes chat about this and that and something in the story will remind them of something and off they go again telling me things. Sometimes they stop me in the corridor and ask me if I'm going to hear them read that day which I find very endearing. They have started to remember my name as well.
Hope you Olive Tree takes off Lottie. Not literally of course.
And you feel better soon Shaney.
Hiya Dolly good to hear from you and Neti If the gecko was going to 'attack' you it would have done it by now... Hope you and Mr W and your sis are doing alright Woofy.
Have Missed anyone ~ oh yes Vinny I bet he's ensconced with his beer and vuvuzela ready for the match of the day. Whoops wasn't going to mention it.
See yer later 'gater(s) COME ON ENGLAND!!!!!
Yo jude...
lovely day for it.
