Does anyone remember the Pop Tarts one could get.Had Strawberry,Apple or Chocolate filling.

My son used to love them when he was a child.
I have not seen them in the shops for years and wonder if they came off the market.
Only thing about them which could make this the reason is that the filling used to get very hot so one had to be very careful when eating them.

Thank you very much Ann86.
Cannot say I have actually been looking for them but have just not noticed them when looking at the biscuit shelves
I recall them, not like them though!
I never liked them, they are too much like Macdonalds Hot Hot apple slices and not very nourishing - but yes, you can still get them.

You an get the chocolate ones in Asda (by the cereal) and Waitrose do the strawberry ones and chocolate ones.
Oh I could go for a chocolate pop tart right now.... A trip to asda is on the cards tomorrow me thinks :)
Not seen the latest McDonalds ad then? Tells you what year they started (1950's)
Bit like Findus Crispy Pancakes. Popular for a week or so then the next fad comes along.

Am off to Asda to for my Pop Tarts!!!!
McDonalds first came to the UK in the early 1970s as far as I recall. Poptarts were a much later import. If you want Poptarts though you should go to the States. They seem to have hundreds of flavours and take up loads of space on the supermarket shelves.
