There's a guy selling cheap sheep's heads near me. I quite fancy getting one. Can I just whack it in the oven for a bit or does anyone know how to cook them properly?

Ewe can't go far wrong if you ram it in the the oven, tup shelf. Check the price though, you don't want to get fleeced.
Ask him to leave the eyes in. You'll want it to see you through the week.
Do you have to remove the wool first then ?

What would you do? Have a whole head on the table, and let your guests carve bits of meat off the face?

(well, you know ... that's what they do in primitive cultures)

(like Croydon)

Why on earth would ewe want to eat a sheep's head?

I asked our local butcher if he had a sheeps head .
" No - its just the way I part my hair . " He replied
The Norwegians remove the fleece and the brain and boil the head whole - as, I believe, do the Arabs. In some Middle Eastern countries, the eye is considered a delicacy. Rather you than me! Enjoy!
My sister's FIL was offered sheeps' eyes in Saudi years ago, it would have caused great offence to refuse it. Bleah.
Korean wins over Saudi cuisine any day boxtops. It's the dog's ***. :)
Wow, what happened there?
