dumpling and mulled wine

i was going to make mulled wine for my ex.but i havent any glass bottles,will plastic do ?
for the dumpling i havent any muslin,would a tea towel do ?

seriously yes a clean tea towel will do if its cotton or linen. Some cheap ones have a synthetic content, don't use those or any where the dye runs.
