Is Elon Musk An "Absolute Hero...

I would like to work at the arts council. I am 32, I graduated with a fine art degree in 1995 and have since worked as a chef and a cabinet maker. Four years ago I moved to Brighton and have since had menial office jobs and currently work in a customer services role at a credit card company. I enjoy my job, its so much better than being shouted at by furious head chefs / workshop managers, but I am painfully aware its not taking me anywhere. I know there is an Arts Council centre in Brighton and would like to start there working in any capacity at all. But I have no idea how to go about applying. They have a website but it always says there are no vacancies.
Does anybody have any idea where I can start looking for a job with them?
thanks

Take 2 weeks off work and go and work for the Arts Council. They will be so impressed by your excellent work that they may offer you a job at the end of it, and even if they don't, you will be in a better position to see if it's what you really want.
There are lots of other Arts Admin jobs that are similar- look in the Guardian online jobs section...
