Your smile have opened my heart
The Universe key long thought lost,
forgotten but now remembered.
I've dreamed of wonderful Belgian food
And far off worlds
Civilisations of flowing wine.
But never in my wildest dreams
Could I recall a vision
As beautiful as you.
The stars have spoken to us
But their music could not compare
as we lay there, the final sixty-nine.
Nights alone without a word
Days to be as empty as the Void
Weightless memories
Spinning and cascading
Into a single lucid thought.
From where have you come
The Sauterne of my dreams?
A love so pure
A goût so revealing.
My life has awoken
From our eternal sleep
Now I know we can ride the clouds
And visit Chateau D'Yqem together
For our love will last
Until the end of the universe.

JJ - excellent taste!
The Foie Gras for sure, but several smaller courses - soft shell crabs, Arctic Char with ginger & black bean, peking duck, standing rib of roast beef, nihari lamb (i only know one place for this, granita and amuse bouches as appropriate, fruit and a well chosen cheese board.
wines - perhaps a Gewurtztraminer, then a great red - I recall a magnum of Chateau Rausan- Segla - I'd trust the sommelier. And a fabulously expensive dessert wine.
I don't fancy swishing champagne back & forth with any lovely lady - it goes a bit sour after a while. Something a bit more robust like an excellent armagnac? or a trockenbeerenauslese?
