I made this earlier, was a bit worried about the italian meringue going pear shaped but it all turned out okay, the cake was delish.

There's a bit left if anyone wants a slice.

right, sounds good, I often cook and freeze half, then equally often forget to take it out of the freezer in good time

I must add, I've only ever thawed raw meat and fish on it, not cooked food so can't comment to it's ability with that.
health warning taken - I'll stick with the sausages!
