Bacon Cheese Rolls

We usually get them from markes - they go along with the pigs in blankets
I thought I might make my own this year using halloumi and smirked bacon
What do you think?

Frozen roast taties, packet stuffing, ready made gravy, ready cooked and sliced turkey too I guess?

I said 'contemplating' but I will go mad and peel the veg - I will buy ready made pigs in blankets, stuffing balls, ready made gravy (can't make gravy for toffee), a turkey crown with the bacon already on it in a tray that goes in the bin and a ready made trifle. Our Christmas is about enjoying each others company not about me spending hours making one meal that will be go in minutes (and himself will wash up). I cook everything from scratch nearly every other day of the year.

Have to double up on so many foods, including mince pies which he loves.

My Mrs loves cooking and spends all xmas morning in the kitchen cooking a top dinner....homemade stuffing, homemade herby Yorkshires, proper crispy maris piper roast taties, proper homemade gravy from the roasted chicken juices

We spend quality time together because I'm in the kitchen with her, periodically topping up her wine glass and offering my culinary advice
