Cumberland Sausage

Anyone know which, if any, of the main supermarkets sell the original circular Cumberland Sausage? Ta Muchly.

I'm not sure the main ones do any more, i used to be able to get them at sainsbury's & asda but i've not seen them for a long time now. I've done a search on my supermarket and nothing has popped up yet

Nothing on Tesco web site.

I can find them at morrisons but listed as oven fresh so they are on the ready cooked hot meat counter, not sure if that will be any good for you.

there are some online butchers stocking them if you want the links but it may prove expensive

Best from Booths if north-westernEngland....even better Penrith, Ullswater Road or the Westmorland stop on the M6, the farm shop, for Cranstons....they used to sell it by the foot. Dales in Kirkby Lonsdale is a good alternative....

Not a main supermarket but Dukeshill stock circular Cumberland Sausage could be worth a look.

Waitrose list them - limited stockists though. None of the big chains stock genuine Cumberland Sausage.If you are in Cumbria, your local butcher is the place to go. There's a Cumberland Sausage app coming soon http://thecumberlandsausageclub.org.uk/ , that will give you locations. Mail order - as someone else suggested, Cranstons currently or Ocado.

Forget going to the Supermarkets for Sausages. They are all rubbish. Go to a proper butches before they all disappear.

Which?...the sausages or the butchers?...laff, I thought I'd never start - I would if I could Gollob, but we aint got any butchers here.
