put that stupid bit of sealing tape on aluminium foil?

When you open a new box of foil, the first 12 inches is spoiled because the sealing tape never comes off cleanly and tears the foil in half.

A very interesting point Talbot. Has anyone actually measured their roll to see it is what the manufacturer claims it's length is as a foot clipped here and there equates to many hundreds of tons of aluminium per year.

Aluminum foil or cling film: do you unroll it over the top or up from the bottom?

I never put either near the bottom, stuey. There are other products much more suited to that area.

Fiction-factory - 12" of foil to wrap a sandwich!!!!!! Now that's what I call waste, unless we are talking doorsteps ;-)) that's nearly enough to wrap a small loaf.
