wish me luck. I bought the above in a harvest festival mix-up, and now i hve to eat it. It smells like cat food and the only thing i know about them is my granny used to eat them!
I tried one about a year ago, just for old times sake but just couldn't stomach it.
Even the usually unfussy dog looked at me as if I was joking, when I offered it to him.
I well remember one 'Summer Sports Day' at my lower school, when they was used as a substitute for the discus, when the real ones couldn't be found.
They worked fine and left a good sized dent in the turf.
Thirty or so years ago when I was living alone I virtually lived on them, tried one a couple of years back and it was awfull, just a pie crust full of gravy.
