What Are You Having For Breakfast
46 Answers
Variation on a theme...
I'm not and never have been a breakfast eater, but due to circumstances over the last few months I've had to eat something. I've gone through crumpets, muffins, toast, fruit bread, cold cereal, hot porridge...which I'm currently having with a small handful of blueberries or raspberries.
Inspire me, what do you have?

I usually have bacon, scrambled egg, beans and hash browns when at work. I quite often have fish finger sandwiches, poached egg and sardines or even left over curry. However, I suddenly seem to have put on quite a bit of weight, wholly to do with my food and drink choices! So this week I have been treating myself to orange juice and fruit for breakfast. May even attempt porridge next week
I'm not a breakfast eater largely because I find much of the offerings rather dull.
I really enjoy Asian breakfasts, nasi lemak, roti canal, dim sum much more appealing. I can also be tempted by a breakfast burrito or huevos rancheros. If in Northern Europe I enjoy a buffet of cheese, cured meats and fish with a selection of breads.
If being completely conventional then French toast made from cinnamon and raisin bread with crispy bacon on the side served with a spicy Bloody Mary suits too.

I usually have Allbran (or supermarket own-brand equivalent).
This morning however I set out really early to go shopping without stopping for anything to eat or drink so popped into local cafe for their version of English Breakfast (Sausage, scrambled egg, baked beans, bacon rashers, toast and coffee).
