I bought the above and truly do not know what to do with it. Anybody help.

Do you treat it like cooking oil if so - is there a distinct taste of it on your foods - if there is - I will throw it out. Thanks

Never used it for cooking but I do give it to my dogs in their food.
If you don't like the taste, it's good for skin and hair, anyway...

oh right I mean do you plaster it on your face and on hair - would be afraid to give it to dog as he is fussy and it might put him forever
Question Author
^^^^^ off forever
Don't plaster it on too much! Just a little and then wash it out of your hair xx
You mix a teaspoon in with his food.

He is only fussy because you allow him to be fussy!

I'm seeing coconut oil mentioned a lot these days. I don't know what form itm comes in these days, but about 5 years ago when I had a spiral perm (I loved it, daren't have another though) it came like lard, + I used to melt a bit in microwave then plaster it on my my hair, cover it with shower cap, then leave for between half an hour and two hours ;) x

It gives a gentle aroma to fries & curry

well then, Bath - what way did your hair turn out
Question Author
Tambo thanks for that - don't like aromas in food
You can cook with it. All oils flavour to some extent, surely ? If you don't like it, don't use it a second time.
Jenny, depending on the length of your hair, mines shortish .. I use about a spoonful and Rubin between the palms of my hands where it melts & rub it through your hair.

to Elina and is it a form of conditioning then
JennyJ......Yep was a great conditioner ;)

Question Author
ta all - think that is what it will be used for - God I will have it until 2017 maybe longer as I don't condition too often as it makes me hair flat thank again
Add xmas pud, mince pies, nuts & raisins & feed the birds. Not for hair use unless you want dandruff
Surely coconut oil has the opposite affect?
tambo,..really? I would say ONLY as a hair conditioner.
