kerrie.l don't you just love the creative stuff they get the kids to do....NOT!!  I am the same; always stuck for ideas.  It sometimes seems more of a competition between parents, know what I mean?  Good luck though, the ideas sound fab to me,

just seen a great idea on people & places section. someone wore a green leotard and tights and pinned purple balloons all over it , topped with a green felt hat they won a fancy dress competition as a bunch of grapes. I know this doesn't utilise the red or white dress, unless you dyed it . But the things seem fairly easy to round up.
