I know there are some who would only drink freshly brewed coffee, I'm after opinions from those who drink instant.
Currently, and for the past number of years, Ive been drinking Nescafé gold blend. However I'm thinking of trying some different ones and wondered if anyone had any recommendations.
Costco currently have an offer on for Douwe Egberts Pure Gold, and their Indulgence one too, so I'm going to give both a go.
Anyone drink any they think is the bees knees??
Thanks.

Nescafe Alta Rica or Kenco Costa Rican for us. We prefer a stronger full bodied coffee.. Me I'd rather have gin :o)

I love all kinds of coffee, my favorite has got to be percolated, campfire coffee but obviously thats a time consuming treat.
As for instant. my morning cuppa is 'Kenco Rich' Which I buy in refill packs and fill up those old Douwe Egberts jars.
this is the only one I use now apart from freshly ground.

Nescafe Azera.

Dave.
Kenco Millicano for a milder coffee and Nescafe Alta Rica for a stronger one. I wasn't keen on Carte Noire.

I can see its going to take a while to get through all these suggestions.
Thanks very much, half of those I've never even heard of so I'm looking forward to trying them :)
You'll be buzzing by midnight :-)
I used to drink Nescafe, but changed to Tesco Gold years ago, not because its cheaper, because it taste better.

Actually so would I maizie, 7.30am seems a tad early for gin though ;)
Errrm. Perhaps :o) xx
I wouldn't bother with Ummm's suggestion of Nescafe original, if you are used to Gold Blend.

Actually Nescafe Black Gold is not bad though.
my mater likes the M&S instant.....
I like Kenco's rich coffee. This is second choice, my first being my Nespresso.
wonder if my mother will put daffodils in the jar?
I'm bemoaning the disappearance of "Nescafe International Blend" which was available in Wilkinson's and other random places. It was much stronger and more like coffee than any others I've since tried. Basically instant coffee in this country is so weak and feeble that I'm surprised it can be called coffee.
I chop & change often, trying something new instant-coffeewise. There are a lot of decent ones out there. I'd recommend the barista version of Gold Blend. I was rather impressed by that one.
I have used Gold Blend for years. On offer at £4 per 200g at Waitrose and Iceland at the moment. Mrs J swears by Carte Noire, currently £4 at PoundStretcher. Gold Blend Barister Style and Carte Noir Wholebean Instant even better. Stock up with any of these when we can get a cheap deal.

I bought Nescafé Azera today and whilst it was pretty good, it had a slight bitterness to it I thought.
Am sticking with gin for the next few hours.
I use freshly ground coffee but sometimes have Aldi Columbian instant which has an excellent flavour
I find granules a bitter taste so I go for mild birds powder coffee which is as it says 'mild'. However I believe Sainsbury's own brand powder coffee is actually Birds but a lot cheaper so I usually buy that.
Mellow birds is too weak for my liking. Like drinking dish water!!
