I have just had two enormous doorsteps of toasted Cheshire Cheese with lashings of black pepper.

Carbohydrate, fat and salt, with a bit of protein thrown in. Not terribly healthy but utterly delicious!

What's your scrummy, fat laden snack?

I go for the bacon and cheese sandwich, too - I'm really naughty and have it in white bread with dip. 'Dip' is where you dip the bread in the fat from the bacon..............ooo! I want one NOW! I actually succumb about twice a year.

Jourdain, when I was a child my mum would cook bacon and cheese on a tin plate. There was always plenty of dip. Lashings of it!

I love this site so educational. I'd never heard of Falafel before I thought it was a ninja turtle ;-) It does sound nice though. As does the ham and pineapple cheese toastie.
