I was told by someone that if you go just before closing that many goods are reduced. Is this true and does this include meats?

In particular, I'll never buy 'still fresh' fish from Asda as, on several occasions (from different Asda stores), I've opened the packets to be overwhelmed by a stench which has even sent the cats running away from it! I've also seen meat which has totally turned green offered by Asda on the discount chiller.

Yes, good old Morries. Well-done EDDIE. Rather like I always used to go down to the market at close of play and get loads of veg and fruit for practically zilch. Some stuff (e.g. strawberries) they were practically throwing at me to take it away. Still goes on (for info. for those hitting hard times again, I know what to do if this happens again to me).
