I've decided to pack up early. Sadly it is freezer roulette for me for tonight.

But I am cooking braised steak au poivre, boulangere spuds and a red velvet cake for us for tomorrow (I have a long and busy day tomorrow so cooking is out of the question and Mr BM is poorly).

What are you all having on this bitter winter's day?

Sausage, egg and chips for us tonight!
Mamya I wondered if they might be a bit 'tough' if you know what I mean. I like spring greens and sweetheart cabbage. Anyway I'll give ut a whirl nothing ventured..
Worth trying.
Roast chicken, mixed vegetables & roast photos & gravy. ( every Tuesday)
OH has bought a turbot, which she is going to cook in the oven. I don't mind turbot but there is a huge steak in the fridge which is tingling my taste buds far more!
I have never had roast photos Patsy.
Say cheese ?
@marval

I have never had roast photos Patsy.

Snap!
Paella, once I can find a big enough mallet to smash a chunk off the frozen block!!
I like those kalettes. They taste like purple sprouting broccoli, which I love.

Home made chicken jalfrezi here tonight. The house smells like... (insert you local Indian.)

I am about to prepare myself a Spinach sandwich, with some rock salt for crunch and a drizzle of salad cream. Using Hovis seeded bread. I'm actually looking forward to it. :-)
Have been getting kalettes from Waitrose for ages...a cross between kale and sprouts. We steam for 7 - 8 minutes.
Sausage and bacon and onion and root veg hotpot - all just chucked in a pan for an hour or so - then served in a giant yorkie.

I may have a glass or two whilst it cooks.
Have you not tried roast photos, Marval & Volty? Lovely glaze on them!..... :-)
I've set fire to a few photos of someone I disliked......should have taken Patsy's advice...slow roasted would have been much better... ;-)
Lol gness!...
I think a slow roasting would've been better..
I can picture the food now lol
Crispy polenta trout, avocado, stirfried shredded sprouts or creamed spinach, a bit of 90% chocolate.
^^^
Lol! Quite an image...
Negative Patsy, I have never tried them. I will put them on my shopping list, and see what develops.
