Any Foodies Around?

What's the most interesting or complicated or scrumptious thing you've made recently?
I confess, much as I do love cooking (and eating) good food, I've not been very adventurous lately for one reason or another. I really need to make a batch of the famous ragu but can't be arrised at the mo.
I have some Swedish meatballs in the freezer so may make a sauce to have with them this week, don't hold your breath though.

Most complicated, or maybe most drawn out, thing I ever made was cherry berries on a cloud..totally delicious but not sure if it was worth the three days it took to make.
I love fresh fruit brûlée a la an old sainsburys recipe, and I think scallops done any which way are my all time favourite food.
Ooh, Eccles, must look that up, does sound rather good. I do a mean chicken basque but yours sounds very nice.

“Madam, I was merely pointing out that for those who wish to indulge in fatuous culinary drivel there are other sites available, such as FB or mumsnet, where they can indulge to their hearts' content.”
LOOL, you’re hilarious jd. So AB has constructed the “food and drink” category to not be used and hope we go offsite instead?
That’s like saying don’t use the news category and instead use daily mails comments or some other news forum instead.
My ribs are aching now.

I am lost somewhat for words. However, I do seek clarification of the following;-
@jackdaw....Did Jesus have a chain guard on his bicycle to prevent his flowing robes being caught-up. ?
@Tilly...What does heaven smell like.?
@ethandron......Are you really going to be saucy this week. Also are you the ABer who gave a wonderful recipe for Chicken Basque which Gretel and I still enjoy.
Hans.
