Sunday Lunch
37 Answers
Ok, so I know it’s only Saturday but I believe in forward planning.
As we’re away at the mo, we’ve found a dog friendly place which does a traditional Sunday lunch, which we will be partaking of.
I do love a Sunday roast but rarely, if ever, bother these days just for the two of us.
Looking forward to it :)

We never, ever, give him food bits from the table either, which I think has helped his behaviour as he doesn’t expect it, or beg.
That’s not to say he doesn’t have the occasional excitable moment if someone makes a fuss of him, but 99% of the time he just lies quietly under the table.

Because diddlydo dogs love to come out with us and be included in things that we do. I think it's wonderful that so many places now will allow us to bring our dogs and I will always frequent such places. As Vagus say, plenty of places you can take your custom, but hope you're not unlucky enough to sit next to some really smelly person -plenty of them about !
Back to the OP, home made veggie casserole for dinner today.

//Sorry, but I find dogs in restaurants quite repulsive. Only assistance dogs should be permitted where food is served. Why do people need to take their dog to a restaurant? //
Best you no longer visit your host of friends in Europe then.
There's hardly a Cafe de Sport, bistro bar or restaurant in France that does not have family dogs asleep under the table.
