What can I put in my G&T to make it more interesting? I do like a wedge of lime and sometimes a knob of root ginger, but I would like to hear some other ideas....

Any recommendations or recipes welcome.

Thanking you.

Grapefruit is pleasant imo.

I think I had sliced blood orange and rosemary last time I was in St Ives. The gin was still far too strong, so I bought a baby bottle of prosecco and made it into a cocktail.

You must be drinking cheap gin LadyCG because any gin worth drinking really just needs a splash of tonic.
However...…….I've heard fentimans pink lemonade is popular with some people.
Elderflower cordial is nice in a G&T

APG, you might drink cheap gin but I certainly don't.

With regard to whether Gin needs only a splash of tonic, it is a matter of personal taste. I think my tastes are probably more refined than yours, but again that's just a matter of opinion.

Have yourself a very jolly weekend :-)
gness I think you'll find your boyfriend is joining in too lol!
LCG No I find cheap gin disgusting. I only occasionally drink gin and its Durham Gin which I always choose, which has a lovely savoury taste due to the addition of pink peppercorns and celery seed. Lovely with a splash of fentimans light Indian tonic.
