Beef Paste

Just bought a jar of Princess Beef Paste. I haven't eaten it for years but it takes me back to the days when my dad used to take paste sandwiches to work with him. Those were the days with bloater paste, crab paste, chicken and ham paste and sardine and tomato paste all to be found in corner shop shelves as well as crab and anchovy variants. Haven't seen a bloater in the fishmongers for years!
Anyone else a fan of paste sandwiches? Other than spreading on bread, I really don't know what else to do with my beef paste. Any ideas?

Used to love Salmon or Beef paste with a bag of plain crisps.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I was afraid that in this day and age of sophisticated food, I'd be advised to put it in the bin! You've given me some good ideas.
