Potted Beef

Up until about February this year I could buy Sutherlands fresh Potted Beef from my local supermarket. Now I cannot find it anywhere, I read on a website that it is being rebranded under the Shippams label but Shippams only seem to do jars of paste like Princes do, not the fresh cartons. Does anybody know where I can buy it or whether it has been discontinued? Thanks.

??? Tesco's still sell it as Sutherlands potted beef - i buy it regularly......

I regularly use 3 different Tesco Extra stores and they have never had it that I've seen, it was my local Safeway that used to stock it but now they have stopped. Maybe there just isn't much call for it in Newcastle. :-( Cheers Though

what is a Tesco Extra store? I will go to Tesco's tomorrow (North Yorkshire) and report back....

Tesco Extra is just the massive Tesco hypermarkets that sell electrical goods & housewares as well as groceries. It would actually be worth a trip down to North Yorkshire to get a few cartons, I'm lost without it! lol

here you go SRobb (sorry for delay) Tescos Thirsk sell it still (i bought some last weekend) also Morrisons Boroughbridge, also (bizarrely - and i only spotted it by accident) the Spa shop in Hemsley, North York Moors!

Thanks Darth, I will make a trip to Tescos Thirsk this weekend, probably at least a three hour round-trip but well worth it! Can't wait! :-)
