We are constantly made aware of healthy eating / lifestyle on the media and from government. In the past certain sugary items / drinks have been banned from TV. Some supermarkets have removed sweets from their checkouts in a effort to promote healthy eating. YET, here we are being brainwashed by Subway into thinking that crisps on a sandwich is a brilliant idea, rendering any healthy sandwich, unhealthy.

My wife, in her 70s, has been eating crisp butties since she was a little girl; she's not dead or even unhealthy. Enough said.
My response...bleeuurrgghhh. Who's bright idea was that?
How many crisps do you think they can fit on a sandwich- it ca'nt be more than a quarter of a bag. Am not sure sandwiches are generally healthy anyway- usually subway ones have loads of salad creamy mayonaisy stuff or other fattening stuff and bread in itself is'nt genrally healthy. So not worth worrying about IMO
That was referring to Subway...not your wife, bhg.
Whose being brainwashed by Subway anyway teacake. Maybe you?. Not me
i dont think any sandwiches (especially from subway) are healthy anyway. They are not suggesting you eat them every day though
I've always eaten crisp sandwiches. Not very often though. It wouldn't be on a daily menu.

Everything in moderation.

Nothing against the odd packet of crisps, I have them on occasions, but you live and learn, at the moment we are learning that this country has the highest obesity rate in the world, and young minds are easily influenced by what they see on TV.
Fat wives matter.
I love a crisp butty with tomato sauce - yum !
Subway bread contains 10% sugar - it's more like cake than bread. I doubt if adding a few crisps wool make much difference to what is already an unhealthy meal.
Have eaten crisp butties all my life as an occasional treat, I squish them after making with a rolling pin :-)

Far from it,false news:-

crisps in a sarnie are delicious, especially with sliced tomato.
I have visions of Mamya having a good bash...crisp crumbs flying everywhere.

Crumbs!
No no Pasta, a smooth rolling action, to mingle the crisps in with the butter.
Before looking at that link, I'd already guessed it would be a Pacific island at the top of the list. Diets there are no longer traditional and are instead based on western imports...mostly rubbish.
Crushing them gently...? ;)
...of course
