Yes, ynnafymmi your description is exactly right. MrsProf insists I get a haircut this week and my round-bottomed flasks and retorts are bubbling merrily away giving out the smelliest laboratory pongs imaginable. I wear my lab coat as a badge of honour as there are more acid holes in it than material! But then that may be own fault as I squint through my specs...

Not to mention the “dance of the flaming ar**oles” later on
I'm sure Colemans have been laughing for years knowing their secret ingredient and colouring is that of zit puss.
Ok with sushi , even homemade
Jury still out on sashimi
Could be one step beyond ( madness)
English mustard is great. Others, by & large, a pale imitation.
OG in that case I suggest you try wasabi
Coleman’s 10 times darker than Coleman’s, not referring to the colour
Out for lunch today so will take the Colman's with me. Can't have the beef with out a bit of mustard.
Yes … first choice is English mustard.

A smear of English mustard on a cheddar cheese sandwich (mature cheddar of course). Delish.

Oh and horseradish with beef and Yorkies.
Pork steaks spread with wholegrain mustard and sprinkled with brown sugar and grilled. Lovely!!!!
A smattering of English on a ham sandwich. Prefer French / Dijon generally.
Cheers Aircool, but I understand that much labelled wasabi in the UK is just dyed horseradish. Costs less. Unsure where I learnt that, but I think it was on QI.
I also heard that the Chinese do a good mustard, not that I've tried it.

Surely English Colman's Mustard is what is found in babies nappies?
Strewth Zebu... Cough... Splutter... I nearly choked on my cornflakes!

French mustard for me :-)

Not a fan then,Zebu.I think it is an older type thing. Most of the youngsters(20-40)i work with say they wouldnt go near mustard if it was the last thing on earth.

By the way does anyone know if you still get Colmans mustard in plastic tubes.Ive never seen any in the Aberdeen shops.Perhaps it has been phased out.In my workplace we arent allowed glass jars.I used to take in the plastic tubes of mustard for my eats. The powdered stuff was to much of a kerfuffle.
Love mustards, I eat a lot of English mainly.
L-iK, are you in London Zoo? ;)))
Wholegrain mustard on a ham sandwich. Delicious!
