Enough attempted it and they were turned around. At least Australia nipped it in the bud immediately. We're pathetic allowing all these criminals and spongers to keep coming in their droves. Anybody who wishes to challenge their deportation to Rwanda ought to be made to take them into their own homes!

It's been the view of many people in this country that we are being taken for a ride, webbo. The principle of "asylum" is being abused on an industrial scale by people who simply don't like it where they are and want to settle here instead of staying in their homelands to improve things there. Over 1,000 refugees arrived over the last weekend and it will continue on that scale so long as they are treated to board and lodging as soon as they arrive. Have a read of this thread, where the legalities of the asylum system were discussed:
https:/ /www.th eanswer bank.co .uk/New s/Quest ion1842 674-2.h tml
And my final comment:
"It's back to basics - the idea of asylum is to provide a safe haven to those in danger. Those in France are not in danger - they'd just rather be here than there and it seems the government is quite happy to accommodate that whim. But it's got nothing to do with asylum."
It's absolutely outrageous that the people of this country are expected to fund all this in ever increasing numbers and it is simply unsustainable. People with hotel bookings (including weddings) are having their bookings cancelled so that migrants can be housed and the cost is now running at about £8m per day. It's the biggest scandal of our time and all the House of Commons is dealing with today is voting on whether one of its committees was insulted by being referred to as a kangaroo court. I've news for the MPs: the country doesn't care about what you've voted on today; but they do care about the mass uncontrolled influx that is taking place daily on the Kent coast.

//Ah torture them.?//
Wow, thats some jump and certainly not what was said.
Thats the problem with you on the left you see what you want to see not what is actually there.
Interrogation is not always torture, unless you are implying the numerous interrogations our Police conduct on a daily basis are torture.
Or computer programs interrogating a database torture to the DB!

Eh?
Do you not think the Police deal with this daily?
Do you think the Police torture?
A clever interrogator will get the truth without torture, especially easy for those who are not highly educated in interrogation techniques. Just becasue they are told not to say anything doesnt mean they wont slip up whilst being spoken to.
