Just considering at the moment but if anyone knows that'd be useful.

Can one buy tins to bake bread in that are full height & width so slices will fit well in the toaster, but are half the usual length so half the number of slices and therefore doesn't take all week or more to use ?

Tried searching but didn't see any.

Thanks.

I'll bear that in mind, thanks. I will likely give it a try in due course. Just one issue. All my life I've avoided nuts, having tried them as a kid and realised they didn't taste nice at all. As I got older I accepted that the blanket ban was probably unnecessary but didn't get around to sampling and making a list of those I might tolerate. Well this year things changed and I've tried them, and turns out, as expected, not all are absolutely revolting; in fact some are almost adequate (thus the almond flour). But most are still in the range awful to bearable, nevertheless, a taste described as nutty isn't something to rush to ;-)
