some people find that cheese triggers their migraine, is this what you mean?
Ive read somewhere that if you suffer from migraines you should avoid cheese coffee and chocolate.
I'm a cheese nut, love the stuff, from mild cheddar to Sinking Bishop, and I find coffee, (but it must be the right one), comliments it. and I have no problems, That said, each and every one of us is different, and I would imagine that some cheeses would have an adverse affect on some people.
Cheese commonly triggers headaches because aged cheeses such as blue cheese, Brie, cheddar, Stilton, feta, Gorgonzola, mozzarella, Parmesan, Swiss and processed cheese contain tyramine which increases as a food ages. Tyramine is produced from the amino acid tyrosine and increases blood flow to the brain.
