I have recently had to stop eating chocolate as it was giving me a headache (almost as soon as I had eaten it) and it me feel quite queasy/sick. I have just eaten a copule of slices of cheese pizza and now have the same sort of headache/queasiness. Are there any particular headache tablets that I can get to sot this out? Thanks (PS - don't mind not eating chocolate but would struggle if I couldn't eat cheese.)

I'll try that now - thanks (don't take tablets usually so not sure what sorts what out - if you see what I mean).
LOL...I do indeed.
I used to get migraine headaches and it tended to be related to food, sometimes chocolate or cheese, and I used to feel very sick with it. Do you get the pain behind one eye? or bright flashes in the corner of your eye? Or feel it worsen if you're hungry? If it's migraine usually you need a painkiller with an anti-emetic, Migraleve from the pharmacy or something stronger from the GP, because if you feel sick your stomach doesn't absorb as well as it usually does and so the standard painkiller just sits there and is less effective than normal.

Hi Rodge - no lights or pain behind eyes. Took the Ibuprofen as suggested and now feel a lot better thanks.
When I had regular migraines I was warned off tomatoes, cheese and chocolate and put onto migraleve tablets.
Agree with Karen. Daughter used to suffer as well and was told to avoid cheese, chocolate and beef stock products (oxo etc)
