does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

I dint know where we are either apparently jno. It is not phase 4, there is no phase 4, it's just better than its was last week!!
well, I know the quinine is out of my system as I woke up with cramp this morning, so here's hoping my tests will work out tomorrow. I went to the supermarket today to stretch my legs (and my crampy muscles) but there was a long queue, so I'll try again after dark. But I did find the bakery open so I am in honey almond and walnut heaven.
Yay my trauma app.at the hospital has come through for 30 June. That 16 months after I last saw him!
my, I hope that's a slow-moving traume.

good morning all. Jno I hope the calmagzinc stuff works...its not immediate, may take a week to 10 days.
Question Author
honey almond walnut sounds pretty good. Neti have you still got your trauma? if not can you switch the appointment for something you have got?
I am so fed up with hayfever eyes.
waves to Shaney
Morning all
Nice and bright after a dull start.Waves back to Woofy.
Not as hot as it was though so have had to abandon outdoor stuff in favour of mundane indoor stuff and it takes two old fogies ages to get this house vacced from top to bottom amongst other things.
Hope your tests are all clear Jno and your eyes stop itching Woofy.I always find sloshing on cold from the fridge eyewash on a cotton wool pad helps.
Better go and do something virtuous I suppose....like cleaning the oven:(

Hi all. Yes still have my Trauma andmit b well hurts!
Stayed in and cleaned the house but its a small house and doesnt take long
Started to sunbathe and then the clouds came over so I gave up, its not a pleasure for me ever! But need a bit of colour.
took two women to get blood from me; the first one called out to the second "would you like a challenge?" and she came running. There's normally only a couple of square inches on the back of my left hand for a reliabel vein, but she found another one by my right thumg. And she even gave me a top tip: drink lots of water before you arrive to make the veins easier to find. How come nobody's mentioned that to me in the last 50 years?

Anyway, I have had a bag of chips for lunch to compensate for the blood loss.
You like your chips dont you jno?
I look upon them favourably, neti, yes. But under normal circs I limit them to once a month.

Gone very black here, with fluff starting a comeback, but the maps all say the nearest rain is in west Wales at the moment. I've brought the washing in anyway.

I have got a working mower and a mowed lawn. Who can ask for anything more? Glad you got bled ok Jno.
Managed to get an emergency app with my nail girl but as house is small we have to do it on patio and its not looking too good weatherwise! Mr N has cleared off to bedroom and hija is asleep blissfully unaware that she may not get to the kitchen for another hour and food is important to her!
another dull damp day and another one on the way. I have done a bit of Bourne bingeing - Identity and Supremacy today, with Ultimatum and Jason B still to come. Not really a major achievement, though, I must admit.
Good morning...the weather isn't good, it's wet and very windy, which is typical, my canterbury bells are/were lovely.
I did have a sick note but the dog ate it so you'll have to take my word for it. I had a horrible weekend, snuffly, dizzy, nauseous headache for 2 & half days and then wiped out for another two. I think hayfever contributed to it, you have my sympathy woofy.

Oooh, I've had so many needles over the years but never liked the back of the hand blood thing. Thankfully they've only done it once or twice. I see they do chemo that way now, ugh! Hope you get sorted jno.
I don't like anyone faffing with my nails either so I'm happy to do my own. I have them short nowadays.

I'm taking applications from anyone wanting to be my support bubble. I think it's going to be the new euphemism :)
Stay well and carry on eating the chips. (I had chips last night)
Hello all
More dull weather but it's supposed to get better after the weekend.Sorry to hear you've been unwell Robinia. Hope you're over it now.
Jno ,I had that once with a blood test where they said I was dehydrated.I came out of the surgery black and blue.It took two of them to find a vein.
The good news is I have a hair appointment but not until the first week in July. One in one out,no coffee or mags and strict hygiene, facemasks etc.
Picky is going to post me some facemasks as they have plenty at his workplace and they can have as many as they like which is handy as they seem hard to get hold of.
I hope things don't take a turn for the worse though and my bubble pops :)
Keep trucking folks.
Hello all. Weather very strange here. Cloudy and blowy. And no tourists! I am actually loving it!
Glad you are recovered Robi. Keep well.
Spanish Netflix doesnt have all the UK progs that I want!!
Having my nails done is such a luxury to me. I have nice long nailbeds but such weak nails
I've always wanted long nails but digging about in sewer pipes etc and I rarely use rubber gloves so havent done them much good. Hair and nails cost mi £60 a month and as long as I can afford them I'll continue
My one joy!! It's my feet that I cant stand being touched so can never have a pedicure
I can just about clip the nails and splodge varnish on and then have to clean off the excess eventually! 2 more Covid cases in Ibiza today! But it is being carefully controlled but people are just acting as though it has been eradicated!!

sis and I are delighted with the bubble arrangement as it means that she can come and go legitimately. She has to go home soon or her home insurance will lapse but now she can come back to go to the hairdresser!
the sun is trying to shine, and our raspberries are delicious this year, they've been edible for a week or so. The grapes are beginning to grow but they never amount to much - big and fat by September but you'd have better luck making cupboards out of them rather than wine, they're very woody.
Car woukdnt start again just as we 3 were off for brekkie. We are selling it cheaply before it becomes worthless. Mr N promises me that we will get another! Have had 6 people wanting to buy it already and its only been for sale for an hour! Lovely sunny day but very windy!
