where can i find in the u.s.a.

where can i find in the u.s.a. the red rubber (or sometimes white rubber) rings for kilner glass storage jars? if anyone can help me locate a source for a couple of dozen or more in the states i would appreciate it. i so far have been unsuccessful locating any and the ones i have need replacing.

and yes, i have lived in a 26 foot american indian tipi for five years until it wore out and have gotten a new 20 foot one but haven't put it up yet.

Try Here , there are two items listed at the bottom that might fit the bill. I think part of the problem finding them may be that Kilner was a trade mark in the UK and they seem to be unknown in the US.

thanks, fitzner and nickmo for the info. you were right fitzner about the kilner trade mark as i found out while searching the web. your info was a place in utah but the shipping was more than twice the cost of the rings to get it to my mom's in arizona and more than three times to get it to me in virginia. i'll keep trying though so all those out there who are searching for me, thanks and keep looking. i am aware that some jars are made in italy, at least some of the ones i have are stamped italy on the bottom. and nickmo, the info you sent didn't have rings, at least not when i searched their site but i did find the brand name luminarc which i will do a google search on. thanks again to both of you! ---tipipaul
