Not that I would ever go in myself (lol) but they did sell it in Lidl at Staple Tye in Harlow - I would have thought that as there are lots of Italians in the Lea Valley then you could buy it around Waltham Abbey, Waltham Cross, Cheshunt, Hoddesdon etc

Blimey tubeway, didn't think of that. I am an Abbey girl myself.

Fab drink! I got mine in House of Fraser wine dept, and Waitrose sell it. You might be able to get it online if you do a search.

S'funny, but I first came across this treat in Barcelona, where they give it to you at restaurants after a meal, but I have never ever seen it in Italy (where it comes from)

tubeway, I wonder why you said you would never go in yourself, to Lidl? It is a wonderful supermarket, with cheap fresh fruit and veg and lots of nice cheese and continental food, very cheap. They do THE nicest muesli, not expensive at all. You just know to avoid the dodgy looking tinned stuff. Their little mozzarellas are the nicest I have tasted from any supermarket, milky and clean tasting, and cheaper than any other place.

Down with Lidl snobbery!!! lol
