Recycling plastic
Is Polypropylene more expensive to recycle? Our council does not accept it.
Some food containers have a concentric squares pattern, does this denote a type of plastic?
I remove milk bottle tops but include them in the bag, do these get recycled or binned?

They accept types 1, 2 and 3 but we are still throwing away PP and the very thin vacuum formed stuff with no ID. Some of the thin stuff has this 1/2" square symbol with multiple squares disappearing into the middle.
I'm sure the milk container tops are different plastic to the bottle and wanted to know what it was.
