Traditional Sunday Roast.....

My husband enjoys cooking & still likes to make a traditional Sunday roast dinner. I know I shouldn't complain as it's always delicious & just as good as the ones I make.

However, the 'tradition' can sometimes drive me up the wall & I'd rather just have a snacky lunch.

Anyone else out there who still enjoys the trad lunch?

I don't really rate Sunday dinners - I find them quite bland and tasteless, really; typical English food...! There are so many better things to eat, and a Sunday dinner is a right hassle to cook, for very little result IMO.
It's funny cos if I ever do make one I find myself giving it a twist - honey roasted veg or something, and all my traditional-loving friends are like 'mmmm, what?!'
The best part of a Sunday roast dinner is the Yorkshire pudding!
