Where is it and why is it so good?!
Mine is a mix-up between The Woodstock in West Didsbury, Manchester for its food, decor, atmosphere, range of beers and the great beer garden for the summer (essential I reckon)....and The Cluny in Newcastle for its beers (again), atmpsophere (pretty laid back) and the fact that they have decent live music on there as well. Oh, you can sit outside there as well in the summer!! Al fresco drinking - I can't wait - what? About 3 months to go????

The local in my village, it has a great atmosphere, a quiz night, curry night, occasional karaoke or disco nights and great food. I wouldn't be without it!
In Didsbury I would prefer the Royal Oak or the Metropolitan to the Woodstock, but it's good to have choices.

I'll agree with you on the Metropolitan. Can remember it before it was there, looked like a dead rough, shady place. But living on Old Lansdowne Road, it was dead handy to have the Woodstock & Metropolitan there
