Why is it that supermarket tinned tomatoes are always dented, and that no other canned produce is similarly affected?

my guess would be that they tend to come from further afield than say tinned carrots, beans etc. Therefore on route they have more chance to get dented. but thats just an idea.
I f you go to the bashed tins special offer section you'll find it's not just tomatoes.any canned product seems to get a good thumping on the way to the shelves.
