I wrap them in streaky bacon, sprinkle some sage or thyme over them, and cook in some olive oil and butter in a frying pan. When the bacon is cooked, the scallops will be, and I squirt some lemon over them at the end. Sometimes I also add a squirt of sweet chilli sauce, which makes it go all sticky and lovely!! Nice served with risotto and salad...yummy!!
sounds very nice but i dont eat bacon, i know ive seen a recipe which has mash potato on the top of the scallop once placed back into their shell, cant find one tho. x
Try stir frying with ginger and spring onion and garlic, serve as a starter with Chinese food - add yellow bean sauce too if you like it, a dash of soy if not.
