What can I feed my 9 month old?

My 9 month old eats solid food. He has meats and veggie, and fruits. I want to start feeding him some new foods like refried beans, is this safe?

Too much spicy food at an early age is not good for the bowels, especially with the colourings they use nowadays(like Sunset Yellow and the other one I can't remember the name of they use in Tikka Masala!) A little in moderation should be OK.
I'd stick with the meat(white preferably, chicken etc) veg and fruit. You could also try a bit of fish now and then. Spaghettia/pasta wouldn't be a bad idea either.
