I do, who could resist Dick Cheese & Marmite?
Ican't stand it- sorry.
I like to smear it all over my body & let my dog lick it off. It's also quite nice on toast.

You cant like marmite,       You either Love it or you hate it

I love it myself

On toast mmmm.
love it
Hate it - but I loved the 'love / hate' ad. campaign.
MARMITE IS GR8
vegemite man meself

I rolled up at your question - you have a good sense of humour!

I only like a slither of marmite, on lightly toasted bread & butter.

i love it!So does my boyfriend,he lives on it at uni!Cheese+marmite sandwiches!

Since I am in the US and had never heard of Marmite before using AB, I can't answer the question but I'm really curious about Marmite now.  Can anyone describe the taste for me?

Thanks!

I love it... smeared on apple - mmmmmmmmmm!

Marmite is absolutely minging!  Euch!

zgma,

Marmite is a yeast extract, brown in colour with the consistency of a paste.  It is like a very salty beefy flavoured spread.

To me it tastes like pure salt.

MARMITE fantastic.made from yeast extract and veggie friendly.vegemite is just australian for marmite.whats the american version called zgma!!

Well, I wouldn't say they're entirely the same.  Every Aussie & Kiwi I know proudly claims that Vegemite is much stronger than Marmite (of course!).  But I find it's the other way round - which is actually why I prefer it.  I will eat Marmite but not as eagerly.

Here's very amusing H2G2 entry on Vegemite:

i agree with you stoo_pid,marmite does taste stronger but i think the ingredients are almost the same.

I'm bucking the love it/hate it trend.

I think it's okay.

I prefer Bovril though.

I hate it, my fiancee loves it.  I'm distraught tho...our son clearly takes after his father...he LOVES it!   A life of inescapable marmite sandwiches/on toast etc ahead then.......
I like it.  All normal people like it.  Those who don't like it are intrinsically evil and will go to Bournemouth forever when they die unless they repent.
