Calories and Toast

How many calories are lost when you toast a slice of bread? An average slice has 91 and just lightly toasted not cremated?Any idea folks

Without googling...I doubt there is much difference. The weight of the toast may be less....but only moisture is lost in the toasting.

Calories in toast 1 med slice / 33g 88 0.6

Well...that's interesting.....

You could lose at least half a calory by just walking to the toaster and pushing down the lever.
