I have a bottle of Black Tower wine and there is a picture of a bottle on the label at the back of it with a 4 inside, could anybody tell me what the 4 refers to, and what temperature it should be served at?

So, with the recommended allowance for men being 3-4 units per day, have two pints of Stella and you are binge drinking. Do that a few times a week and you are an alcoholic.
Oh, well. Anyone got the number for The Priory?
Haven't seen it for years Tullia
1 conforms to Very Dry
2 to Dry
3 to Medium Dry
4 to Medium
5 to Medium Sweet
6 to Sweet
7 to Very Sweet
8) + 9) to correspondingly higher residual sugar levels
ying yang - I guess that you wouldn't overdo it - you would probably stop after the first glass.
Are you saying i'm virtuous and strong willed , annie? Or just a light weight :)? I actually only do have half a bottle of wine a week so probably the second option is correct.

I was wondering if you were about today. How's your son getting on
at school?

( sorry stanbesida, for chatting on your thread)
Hiya.....1 is very dry-10 is very sweet.
ying yang, I was meaning that you may find that you want to toss the rest down the sink!
Apologies too stanbesida!!

My son seems to be doing fine - his confidence has really been boosted since he went to his school swimming classes and was about 10 levels above where the bullys were. I don't know if it is just his age or what, but in the last 6 months he has moved up two levels in his swimming, 2 belts in judo, the teacher the art classes has said that he is doing really well - he has passed his level D in Reading, Writing and Maths, has had star pupil twice, his handwritting has gone from illegible to beautiful and has gained 4 new badges in Cubs!
p.s. how are your girls doing?
Black Tower is a brand name for several varieties of white wine, each with a different alcohol content in the range of 9.5% to 12.5%. None of them are of any particular merit apart from being wet and alcoholic. They are best served chilled to give them a hint of some life. There are many far superior wines available at the same price..
