am going to use one tonight for chicken, can I put the potatoes in with the chicken and will they brown, cos if I have to put them in seperately it's not worth using the bag!

I've placed only the meat in the roasting back & then used the juices to make gravy with.
Do any other veg on their own.
Chicken cooked in the bag will result in very delicious, moist chicken - at least try it!

Oooh, we are staying at Neti's and she is doing all the cooking. Spanish style please Neti. I am going to enjoy this new home. I am off to explore St.E. It's near 40 years since I was here last!!
Ola! here I is in your scullery...get the oven on neti, this should keep us going for a while...just wish it would hold still, tut...

booger again!!
hmm, still no sign of the chef...she's having a siesta again I s'pose.
More than likely Robi, or she's down at the bar downing Sangria!!!
Robi, have answered your question about jeans in our old home!
greetings all...am currently hooked om jacket roast sweet potatoes...has anyone else tried them?
MMMMmmmmm I love sweet potatoes. I am now going to go and try a jacket roast one!! Back soon!!
oh lordy, one mention of food...
Thanks for the jeans info Lottie, I want some dark, straight leg..and I don't do jodhpurs either :o)

Mac poodle had a Halti lead woofy...he was 7 months old, extremely strong & with bad habits when I got him. The lead transformed our lives. From being a tiring battle the world was opened up & I could take him anywhere & have him under control.
ah, dinner's in the oven?

Serves 20, you say? Excellent
I knew I had a small sweet potato left over!! In the microwave it went for three minutes, knob of butter some salt and pepper and I woofed(ha ha) it down. Thanks Woofie - I might now have caught a sweet potato obsession from you!!

Suddenly the word potato looks all wrong!!
I want some dark straight ones as well, but they flippin well were too small around the waist and they were too tight actually across the thighs. I just want some that are straight not skin tight. If I went for the next size, they would be huge on the hips. I am wondering whether to try Cotton Traders. They have some and their cords were fine and not like jodphurs. Not all us women are pear shaped, but I find most clothes are made for pear shaped women. I am banana shaped. Same width all the way down and I bend in the middle where me back got broke!! ;o)
And I don't want elasticated waists, whether it be at the side, back or all they way round. I hate them and besides that they fall off me!!
Still waiting for Neti's culinary masterpiece - the others must've fainted away with hunger - Oh, well it's toast and marmite then before I go off to bed!!
Evenin' all. Phew, exhausting day. The shopping centre is huuuge, very draining when you're not in shopping mode but looking for specific items. But I found a Lebanese meze lounge with deep-fried halloumi and green peas so I'm not complaining:)

Bought some string to play with the cat (tied a toy mouse to it) and he got so excited he fell out of his chair and is now p1ssed with me for falling out of his chair. Cats. You can't live with them, you... can't live with them. But he is a darling. He demands to be let out around six in the evening and stays out for an hour and a half. No problem hearing him meow on the balcony when he returns as the balcony is right by the kitchen where I'm sitting with my laptop. But then he goes out again around midnight and I'm asleep before he returns and my bedroom isn't next to the balcony at all. This morning I woke up at 06.15 and knew he was there, and he was - but he may have been sitting there for four hours waiting to be let in, for all I know. I need to get him some kind of megaphone.

Robi is it (still) all TinyPic links or was it just this one? (I don't like ImageShack as they reveal how you've named your photos.) This is Neti in her kitchen - can you see her? http://i56.tinypic.com/6e1auw.gif

good morning all...rough night. one long hot flush/dizzy spell and the dogs were up and down all night convinced there were monsters in the garden, so we didn't go out this morning. DH has gone off to get his hair cut.
Still cold here
