Picnic today, BBQ this evening...............

Picnic by the river in Stratford - Cold chicken, buttered rolls,
juicy vine tomatoes, mixed salad leaves,
Ham and mushroom/cheese and onion quiche,
farmhouse cheddar and red onion chutney bites,
pasta salad, coleslaw, giant garlic prawns.
Toffee cake, strawberries and ice cream. All in cold box


BBQ tonight: Steaks,
homemade sausages (pork, apple and leek, pork with sweet chili,
beef with mushrooms and guinness,
lamb with apricots and mint,
pork ribs chinese style,
chicken - BBQ, shili and lime, garlic butter flavours,
tuna steaks, devilled crab claws, lobster tails

Jacket wedges, pasta salad, jacket potatoes, homemade coleslaw, appleand walnut slaw, mixed salad
onions, various breads, rolls and wraps and loads of sauces, chutney's and relishes.

Gallons of wine, beer, lager and cider (both apple and pear) and guinness!

All this talk of food is too much for me...i'm starving now!!

Mercia, can i come live with you - i'd make a wonderful daughter....and am really good at washing dishes ;-)

I've just had meat formed into finger shapes ... served on a crusty roll ... with a garnish freshly picked and grown in my very own borders...accompanied with a portion of day old coleslaw.
It was washed down with a fine bottle of San Miguel carefully selected from my extensive selection stored at an agreeable temperature in my cooling device.

You can't beat it can you..?
