if you have a UK mobile phone and you're in the UK and you ring or text another UK mobile belonging to another British person who is in another country (on business, holiday or whatever), do you get charged extra because the other person is abroad?

I don't think you get charged extra but I know when I'm abroad I get charged for receiving a text from the UK
I believe the other person gets charged for receiving the call(not proper). unless he has arranged with his network
