Help!! I am not expert at games but someone has given me a Nintendo DS and I have been enjoying myself with 'Narnia'. I have completed all the quests (apart from the new dwarf cave, which I have found out you can only do after rescuing Edmund)) but am now totally stumped as to how to go about rescuing Edmund. I have been running around Narnia for two evenings in desparation!!

Can anyone out there please give me a pointer in the right direction. I am sure someone aged 7 would laugh at my plight, but age is not on my side.

Well earlier this year I was a 44D but luckily I lost some of it. They are uncomfortable and do get in the way, and in the heat they get dreadfully sore. I didn't look pregnat from the back either (everyone said it'll be a boy) but I wasn't that big at all, could bend down and touch my toes right through to the end (and not bending knees). I was a big at 5months as I was at 9....

<<<<BANG!!!>>>
huh, be like that then, they laughed at Michael Fish too...

Evenin' All (said like that old copper~ prize for whoever can tell me his name I've forgotten it).
Did I hear someone say it's goin' to snow? I reckon it'll miss the Midlands. Please say I'm right!!
Hope your day has been ok. I've been to see a friend who taught me Wordprocessing 20 years ago at night classes. (she must have been good I got a distinction) Anyway we kept in touch with Christmas cards and the odd meeting. Well I hadn't been over to see her for about 2 years so I went today. We've arranged to meet again after Christmas cos we haven't caught up on everything yet! We only had 2 hours today!!
Some footie for me tonight if they can find a referee. I wont explain cos I Know nobody is really interested.
Right~ I'm off to put my bin out before it gets any colder. Black bin today. You really wanted to know that didn't you ;-)

Take care and keep warm all of you.

Dixon of Dock Green!
Dixon of Dock Green, was it? Unless it was PC 49.

We're lucky - so far we still get all our rubbish collected on Wed mornings - ordinary, organic, paper and glass recycling. But rumour has it the ordinary grey bins will be down to fortnightly next year. Doesn't really matter, we've decided as we don't fill our bins nearly as quickly now more of it goes to recycling. But I may need the binliners to wear if it gets much colder - just call me Osama!

Not interested in footy but Ashes cricket start at midnight so that will be useful if I have insomnia.
That's him You win Neti - Blow the diet

Off to watch the footie now. Good luck Jno with the Cricket hope we win The Ashes. (Is that right) !
Evening possums. (I love it when you call us blossoms, Vinny:) Winter came yesterday to us, pavements of stone when I left home had turned to wind-blown ice the same evening and I was so terrified. I held on to a railing and tested one boot on the ice and there wasn't a chance, not even a remote one, that I could have stayed upright. I saw a teenage girl slip badly, she didn't get up again and her two friends were squatting down beside her, stroking her gently. She was resting on her elbow so she wasn't unconscious but she may well have fractured something. So how scared do you think I was. TA-DA, enter brilliant crampons! http://www.devisys.fi/en/index_en.htm Didn't get around to trying them last winter after my backwards fall as I simply didn't dare go out after that, but yesterday I went back into the library again and put them on and tested the ice again, still holding on to the railing - and they were absolutely brilliant. They will save my life and my sanity. I still walked like a 90 year old and it took me forever to get back home, but possums I did it! I felt as euphoric when I got home as if I had won Swedish Idol;-) They are very dangerous on stone (floors, stairs) so I practically walk on my toes in the grocery store but so what. They will think I'm autistic ha ha but I don't care, I'm just so relieved. I did almost slip once... but only almost! I feel much safer now:)

This must be your husband Woofy...? http://i55.tinypic.com/2cqikac.gif

Hope they win Jude... 'they' being... erm... well, you know... your team. (Sorry I've no idea...)

No pot in the curry Neti, well you say that NOW but methinks you've changed your tune a lot since yesterday 20:17 Wed 24th Nov 2010

Evening folks
Very cold here .Freezing rain on and off most of the day and it was hospital day .
Kit this sounds very worrying .Perhaps you should have a stick or something as support .
Don't they grit the roads and pavements ? I would have thought that par for the course as you are more or less guaranteed snow .Please be careful :)
Nothing much to report from Shaneytowers .
I've worn a hat today for the first time this year. And if it gets much colder I shall be wearing my wooly tights as well . I wonder how many fleece tops I can get on under me coat .
If you see a Michelin Man wandering about ..that'll be me :)
Hope you are all OK anyway and that your head is bit easier Robinia .Nice piccy of Charlie by the way .
Take care all and keep warm .
Oh well done Kit!! I've got something similar on a rubber stretchy framework that pulls on over shoes or boots, excellent in the winter at need but i wouldn't like to hike miles in them. That pic is DH to a "T" He has always been a chilly mortal and is currently quite anaemic which doesn't help. We have decided to get him an electric radiator to stand beside his chair as this will be cheaper than heating the whole house to tropical temperatures. Mind you it has been cold today, even I was cold indoors which is unheard of...oh I remember dixon and the signature tune

The character was originally in a film called the Blue Lamp and was shot in the opening scenes of the film...The program makers thought that it might make a good series so they revived him...Later on (much later) American program makers did the same thing with Officer Bobby Hill in Hill Street Blues. he was killed in the pilot movie and resurrected for the series...okay that's enough cop trivia for tonight...do you know where the word trivia comes from (gets dragged away with a big hook)
oh yes, you'll need proper winter clothing, Kit - this looks just the job

I've got marks lacy longjohns and they are lovely and snuggly..keeping my arms and legs warm makes me warmer all over.
Good morrow good Biddies - Dark and cold here too, ;0) x

I don't go back to the Blue Lamp era, I am much too young!

I saw some of those shoe chain thingies in Eastborne and I wanted some but absolutely no use over here. I do have special snow walk which annoys the helll of of Mr N cos he says I'll fall over more that way. The long trek over our terrain is lethal with small stones so my snow shuffle comes in then!

Hope you are all passably well and happy.
quite bright here, forecast says sunny intervals - yesterday it was for snow showers, so obviously the weather has gone off oop north to hit Derby and Stockholm, and I can put the salt on my chips instead of having to sprinkle it on the road.
Morning all from dizzy of Derby...no jno, no snow yet (fingers crossed), sub zero but nice & sunny at the moment.

Much too young for the Blue Lamp era?....hahaha...yeh, right, neti by gaslight

jno I appreciate your bins might be a bit fuller in future but sending them to Ibiza seems a bit extreme...

Yay for Kit, please be careful your weather looks treacherous I see

oooh, steady, mind how you go I said...
http://img227.imagesh...ancingcatanimated.gif

sorry it's all visuals today, ain't got nothin' to say....
Morning all
Light dusting of snow early this morning .Brightened up and now it's gone dull again and is snowing quite hard !
Morning all in the queue this morning at 8.00 for blood test. They didn't start til 8.30. Never mind. When I got home the window cleaners had done and they said we've done downstairs as well for a cup of coffee!! Bless em.
Kit you just be very careful. We don't want a repeat of your last escapade. Good for you that you've found some footwear gear that helps you stay upright. Kit the Footie last night wasn't my home team (The Rams ~ Derby County) It was a Manchester United against Rangers a Scottish team. I just like Footie whatever. I've been watching it since my youngest was 8 years old.
I'm off out to lunch today with a man (friend). I've known him for a long time and he lives with his partner but he is off work with a broken wrist so he suggested we met up for a chat and something to eat.
Hope you feel better pretty quickly Robi. It seems to be taking a long time.
Hope you all have a good day snow free and pain free.

See yer later ';gater(s)
Ha Robi, that second piccy, I've been there and Swedie and I laughed at the old tugboat that was there called Patricia, well she laughed I was appalled !!
Patricia may be a bit of a tramp but she has entertained the queen and Billy Joel
