hello to all ps gamers
just a quick question here my ps2 (it is over 10 yrs old ) has suddenley developed a very irratating habit of keep saying, (whilst trying to load the games)
"disc reading error" i have given the discs which it doesen't like this is about 9 out of 10) a good clean with disc rejuvanating solution but this seems to have little or no effect i dont really have to go and buy a replacment ps2 or even ps3 because i am unsure if the ps3 will play my collection of ssx games and the jax &daxter triology plus numerous other games which are all on ps2 settings

afaik ps3 does not play ps2 games. sounds like your ps2 has had its day.
I would imagine that preowned ps2's could be picked up for next to nothing.
