Going back to my post on Sunday about my Aunt - I was trying to order the death certificate of her father John Baxandall who died 1965 at Hammersmith. I filled all the info out and then it asked for the exact day, month, year.

I am just off out to the Post Office now, will speak to you later Craft - Many Thanks

lol Den.....he died in 1968 not 1965.
He died Hammersmith 1968 Q1 5b 796
Go to the certificate site and login
Go down the options and click the death certificate box and in age at death put 56.
Go down to the bottom and where it says..Is the General Register Office Index known click Yes
In the year box type 1968
Press submit
On the next screen just check that your personal details, name, address etc are right
and press submit
On the next screen fill in the names as requested
In the Quarter box select Jan,Feb, March from the drop-down
In District type Hammersmith
Volume type 5b
Page type 796
You don't need to check anything elso so just scroll down and press submit
This will then take you to a page which shows what is in your basket, you can add more certificates or go to checkout.....then just follow the payment instructions.
