I remember going to visit East Berlin and going through the wall on the train. When we used to fly into the airport there, we had to fly down an old air corridor at 10,000ft.
Our son was stationed in Germany and was at the wall when it came down. He came home with two lumps of it - one for us and one for his gran and grandad. We now have them both. Just lumps of stone that are not very elegant looking but cannot bring myself to get rid of them.
