Hi Crazie, Although the Bible does say that it was Eve who first disobeyed [ because she listened to Satan [ the serpent] and then encouraged Adam to do likewise, there are other scriptures that praise women for their efforts. In the matter of telling the Good News, Psalm 68;11Jehovah himself gives the saying;
The women telling the good news are a large army.
It is only in the matter of teaching from the platform/stage/pulpit, that the apostle Paul advised that only men were to teach. To teach and to preach are two different things. 1 Corinthians 14;33For God is [a God], not of disorder, but of peace.
As in all the congregations of the holy ones, 34let the women keep silent in the congregations, for it is not permitted for them to speak, but let them be in subjection, even as the Law says. 35If, then, they want to learn something, let them question their own husbands at home, for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in a congregation.
1 Timothy 2;11Let a woman learn in silence with full submissiveness. 12I do not permit a woman to teach, or to exercise authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14Also, Adam was not deceived, but the woman was thoroughly deceived and came to be in transgression. 15However, she will be kept safe through childbearing, provided they continue in faith and love and sanctification along with soundness of mind.
